My Favorite Skincare You Can Get From Amazon
Scenario: You are scraping the last ounce of your skincare product out of its container, and you have absolutely ZERO time to restock before tomorrow. You go to check out the skincare inventory on Amazon, but what’s actually the best of the best? That’s where I come in!
I know I am not the only one who’s ordered a moisturizer or cleanser on Amazon, in a pinch. So I wanted to break down the exact products I personally order and use from Amazon.
Before we get into it, a little Amazon Skincare Hack…
If you’re ever nervous about ordering skincare from Amazon (I get it—no one wants tampered or counterfeit products on their face), here’s what I recommend: Always filter your search to “Amazon Professional Beauty Store” or “Amazon Premium Beauty.” These categories include brands that are either sold directly by the brand or through authorized retailers. It’s the best way to ensure your products are legit, fresh, and haven’t been tampered with.
You can also check the seller under the “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart” button—look for ‘Sold by [Brand Name]’ or ‘Sold by Amazon’ to be extra safe.
Now we can get into my favorite skincare products sold on Amazon!
I had to lead with this one! If there is only one skincare I can purchase from Amazon, this is it. Let me rewind a little, if you told me a year ago that I would be ordering a “collagen mask” in bulk, I would never believe you. It honestly wasn’t until Susan Yara told me they were a staple for her, I was sold. I want to emphasize that if you are purchasing this mask with the hope of “stimulating collagen growth,” I would say save your money. However, if you are looking for something to give you an overnight hydrating glow, then you’ll love her! I also highly recommend bringing it for post travel. My skin feels so dry when I am on a plane, so having one of these on hand to do that night is ideal.
This is one of those under-the-radar gems that deserves way more hype. Peptides are one of my favorite ingredients for supporting firmness, elasticity, and overall skin health—without irritation. If you’re new to liquid peptides, I recommend applying it right after your evening cleanse (before your moisturizer).
This is a newer retinoid for me, and I’ve completely fallen in love with it. If you’re ready to level up your retinoid game but aren’t quite ready for prescription tretinoin, this is the one I always recommend. Medik8 Crystal Retinal comes in multiple strengths, which makes it easy to build up your tolerance gradually. It’s quickly becoming the retinoid I use on repeat during the week!
Basically, any time I have the opportunity to buy a Naturium product, I probably will. This one is a staple in my shower arsenal. It’s an oil-based cleanser that emulsifies into a milky lather (but still rinses completely clean). It leaves your skin soft and hydrated before you even touch a body lotion. The subtle scent is spa-like, and it’s gentle enough for daily use, even on sensitive skin.
I should start this off by saying I am a dry skin girlie and this is definitely a formula recommended for oily skin types. With that, I absolutely reach for it in the summer or when I’m using a more hydrating SPF. It’s lightweight, layers beautifully, and doesn’t feel greasy. If you have an oily or combo skin type, you’ll absolutely love this one year-round.
Oat is a bit of a secret ingredient in skincare. It’s calming and barrier-supporting (I love it for sensitive skin). This cleanser has a gel-cream texture that feels so soothing and non-stripping. If you’ve ever dealt with irritation or redness, this is one to keep in your routine.
I will say it again and again, hydrating and moisturizing are not the same thing. And the truth is, your skin needs both. This is one of my favorite serums for hydration—it’s packed with humectants like glycerin to pull water into the skin and give it that juicy, plump look. I also find that it works great under makeup, which is always a win. I love using it during transitional weather or whenever my skin is feeling a little dull.
You probably know that I am a skin friendly beauty girl though and through. One of my favorite ways to “skinify” your foundation (which I am sure we have all seen Hailey Bieber do with the Rhode Glazing Milk) is to add a toner to your skin tint. This one from TirTir is super affordable and so effective. I add a few drops to my foundation, and it gives the prettiest finish. It just looks lighter and glowier.
I hope this gives you some perspective when making your next Amazon purchase! Got questions? Send me a DM or leave a comment! Also, if you are ready to level things up, take a peek at my new Skincare Guide!
