You probably know my style by now. I am into efficacious skin care that does its job and leaves the frills behind. I get countless inquiries from companies wanting to send their skin care devices and gadgets and I know that you are all being bombarded with them, too! These devices range in price from affordable to luxury but one thing rings true for all, they are largely unnecessary.
Now, while you don’t NEED any of them, there are a handful of devices and gadgets I personally use regularly that I think make a positive impact on my beauty and skin care routine! Here, I’m going to detail the ones I have (and use) and why I think each provides benefit. But, let’s get one thing straight… FIRST AND FOREMOST invest in a good skin care routine tailored to YOUR skin type and concerns. I was super skeptical about this device for quite awhile and it took me a bit to try it. But, I was hearing from colleagues and others whose opinions I trust that they had incorporated it into their routines. So, I thought I better give it a shot. Nuface was lucky enough to provide with an online training so I could learn proper technique (they have tons of great tutorials on their website, too). I saw an immediate difference after just one use and so I started to incorporate it into my morning routine 3-5 days a week. I always use this on the mornings I will be filming all day and creating content.
In my opinion, there’s really no need for all the extra attachments, I use the main one for the entire process. While not necessarily a skin gadget, this Mirror has made skin care, makeup application and content creation a breeze for me. I find myself taking my skin care into my room to have the full vanity experience in front of this mirror. The best part is it’s 100% portable and lightweight so I can bring it with me on trips or when I’m filming elsewhere. These are honestly probably the least expensive beauty tool I own. These tiny, single use razors are perfect for removing peach fuzz and exfoliating the skin. Caution if you have sensitive or acne prone skin. I shave my face with these about once a month and they can be found on Amazon. The process or derma planing or shaving your face helps your skin care penetrate easier and your makeup go on smoother!
I will add to this list as I find more devices that I can’t live without.
