6 Products Everyone Needs In Their Shower

With so much information out there on the best shampoos/conditioners, body washes, pre-shower hair oils, etc., I wanted to break down the 6 products I swear by to keep in your shower for healthy skin and hair. Keep reading for all of my top recommended products that stay in my shower at all times!

Scalp Treatments

As a result of hair oils and dry shampoo, our hair is bound to get greasy and weighed down. With all this being said, scalp treatments are non-negotiable for my shower inventory. Two of my must-haves are the Briogeo Scalp Revival and K18 Detox shampoo. Briogeo's scalp revival provides a thorough yet delicate exfoliation, removing excess oils and dead skin cells that can hinder healthy hair growth. While the K18 Detox Shampoo acts as a rejuvenating reset for your scalp, effectively eliminating the buildup of styling products and impurities. Both of these truly pave the way for healthy and strong hair.

Gentle Shampoos

On days when you're not using detox treatments on your hair, opting for a gentle shampoo is essential. It effectively cleanses your hair and scalp without stripping away natural oils, maintaining the moisture balance and preventing over-drying, which can lead to hair becoming brittle and prone to breakage.

Moisturizing Hair Mask

One of the initial suggestions I make for anyone looking to amp up their routine is a moisturizing mask. They not only infuse your hair with much-needed moisture but also act as a shield for your hair cuticles, preventing breakage and ensuring they remain smooth and intact. I am obsessed with this one from Kerastase!

Shower Oils

One of the suggestions I make for colder months is opting for a shower oil. Unlike traditional body washes, shower oils provide superior hydration and a protective barrier on your skin. This added layer of moisture not only prevents winter dryness but also leaves your skin feeling supple and nourished, making it an essential choice for cold-weather skincare.

Salicylic Body Wash

Finally, conditioners can often block pores, so I love the very last step in my shower routine to be a salicylic acid body wash. Salicylic acid, like Naturium's Salicylic Body Wash, is known for its exfoliating properties, preventing pore blockages.
